The custom rag quilt I got from Maggie is my all time favorite quilt, and I have quite a few. The embroidery is beautifully done and personalized just for me. Believe it or not, we do get a few cold nights here in Florida. I love curling up in my quilt with a good book and a cup of hot cocoa.

I have been a fan of "Maggie Made it" since the beginning and can't pick "one" favorite - so I'll list a few. Custom Refrigerator Magnets, that reflect photos, family recipes and humor; these must be 10 - 15 yrs old and they remain proudly on display. Custom quilt bag, love the inside pockets (still do, still use it), the fabric was Mary Engelbright when fabric was really hard to find - no one in CA had one like mine. I was the envy of my office and was happy to send orders Maggie's way. I also have a knitted blanket that is one of a kind. I too am a crafter and have found Maggie to be a great resource for ideas, problem solving, techniques and inspiration in all areas from machine embroidery, digitizing, craft ideas, you name it.

The first MaggieMadeIt tote bag I received was a gift from my mother. I had always loved the old movies where someone would travel and get a sticker from that country and place it on their suitcase. My handcrafted tote bag has patches from exotic cities on it with room for new ones, which I find in the countries I travel to now. I take it on every vacation and trip we go on. I loved it so much I had a custom Harley Davidson diaper bag made for my friend at work.

I wanted to make a very special birthday gift for my best friend Angela, and was inspired by many of the crafts and techniques on MaggieMadeIt.  faux chenille quiltHer instructions for faux chenille especially intrigued me, so I incorporated that into a denim rag quilt with a "best friends" theme.  (I'm hooked on doing faux chenille now... it's so much fun!)  My girlfriend cried when she received the finished quilt and said it's the best gift she's ever gotten.
