Autumn Leaves

Autumn is my favorite season, so it's long been the decor theme of my bedroom. 

A few years ago my granddaughters and I collected the most beautiful autumn leaves while on a nature walk.  We spent the afternoon laminating and cutting them out.  Some were then turned into mobiles and others (shown here) tucked into the frame of my bedroom mirror.  They're as colorful today as when we found them and add much to the warmth of my bedroom.

With a little imagination, all sorts of trash can be transformed into treasures.  One of my award winning greeting cards featured dryer lint that became the perfect rain cloud. 

Encourage your kids, and grandkids, to expand their imaginations... recycle!
